Paramount Restaurant Brokers, Inc. DBA SellingRestaurants, is a full service business brokerage firm specializing in selling restaurants, bars, and clubs. We are the largest restaurant broker in the nation in terms of number of transactions completed each year, area covered, and number of agents. Our offices are located throughout California, Nevada and Washington. In 2006, Paramount joined forces with Trifecta Management Group, Inc. to provide our great services to states outside of California and in the key markets of Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Our expansion will soon go beyond the California boarders into Georgia and New York and many other states in 2008.

Our agents are former restaurateurs or experienced business people who know what it takes to close a deal and understand the stresses a seller faces with selling a restaurant, bar or club. Our agents receive hundreds of hours of training each year on topics such as valuing a restaurant, preparing a restaurant for market, qualifying a buyer, negotiating the best deal for our Seller, solving complex transaction issues, navigating through the closing process, working with government agencies, finding financing, and many more issues a restaurant typical deal faces.

OUR HISTORY

Paramount Business Brokers was started 1991. In 2002, Paramount Restaurant Brokers, Inc. was formed to exclusively service the restaurant, bar and club industry. In 2005, to better reflect what Paramount does, the name SellingRestaurants was added to our family. In 2001, Mel Jones, after leaving his position as a CFO for Universal Music Group, searched for a business to buy. He quickly learned the business brokerage industry business model didn't service his needs as a AAA buyer. Information was ill prepared and often wrong. Agents were far more salespeople with little business experience and rarely ever specialized in any one industry. More important, brokers never attempted to create a relationship with Mel in order to sell him a business despite Mel having plenty of cash and superior business experience. Mel's experience with the business brokerage industry led to what SellingRestaurants has become today...empowering Buyers with decision information at the touch of a mouse, creating long-term relationships with Buyers and Sellers, and providing the highest quality service to Sellers the industry has to offer. Of course, cutting edge technology is used to get all this accomplished with a website years ahead of our closest competitor, well trained and educated agents, and the most advanced marketing and advertising techniques in the industry. All these points have put SellingRestaurants on the top of the industry in a few short years.
