Competition

This Craft Distillery and currently operating under a Type 74 License that allows for bottle sales in the tasting room among other benefits. The U.S. distillery business is a multi-billion dollar industry and  this Distillery is primed to grow in the Sacramento region, also recognized as the Farm-To-Fork Capitol of the world.  Current marketing efforts are centered around a grass-roots approach through social media and attendance at local events to promote products and drive sales in both tasting room and retail locations. The greatest opportunity for growth moving forward will be through regional web based marketing to further drive sales.  

Growth and Expansion

 Distillery Products are distributed throughout the state and can be found in several big-box chain stores, broad market and on-sale retail locations.  Most market penetration is in the Sacramento region, Bay Area and Southern California.  Recently, their products were picked up by a larger distributor with plans to infuse their products more into the Valley and additional chain stores State wide.  The sale of this business will be a stock transaction and will allow the buyer to obtain a turn-key distillery at a bargain price without going through the initial steps associated with starting a distillery which can take anywhere from 1 to 3 years.

This is essentially, a turn-key operation with current permits, a product line, recipes, brand recognition and some statewide distribution.  An average still alone sells for around $150-250,000 (there is much more equipment and improvements over and above the still) and you could spend more than a year... getting permits and equipment in place.
